Now you are going to close the energetic body by placing your hands straight up in the air. Start another scale and while arching your hands out to the edge of your energetic field, slowly bring them down 180 degrees (thus completing a 360 degree circle with both hands) as you are toning. I like to complete this portion by the sixth tone and then on the seventh tone I imagine that I am outlining a double-helix while pointing my hands from my feet and then up as high as I can reach. On the eighth tone I create another three hundred and sixty degree arch with my hands and then bring them up and end at my heart.
This drawing was done at a later date because I had not learned about the necessity of doing a close when the first set of drawings was done.
Joy noted at the bottom of this drawing that my body had accumulated what she observed as heat. She used a blue pencil to draw the figure-eight lines, but what she saw was white light. This step of the process could be called “set and hold” because it will lock in the changes that you have made and it also seals the energy body.
For me, the final step while holding my hands at my heart chakra is an expression of gratitude to my guides for the assistance they have given me during the toning meditation. In some of these drawing sets, at that portion of the meditation Joy has observed brilliant streaks of light colors emanating from my heart chakra.
The entire process takes about ten minutes.
It is generally taught that there are seven primary levels that comprise our etheric body and that each of the seven etheric bodies (or levels) have seven chakras or energy points. This toning technique will clear and balance your entire energy body (with the help of your guide on the etheric side). But…you notice that you sang eight tones at each chakra. That’s a good point. The guides informed me that by singing that eighth (octave) tone, I am locking in the adjustments that have been made at that chakra. If you noticed a tingly prickly sensation in your palms while you were closing your field, you were probably sensing the outer edges of your energy body.
This drawing is from a set that Joy made while I was doing this meditation in the pool at our Honolulu condo. Water is a great conductor of sound and electricity.
Notice the blue energy body, instead of being one or two inches it is greatly expanded. This drawing was done as I was toning my seventh chakra. Notice that my energy body is balanced and because of water’s amplifying ability – greatly expanded.
Joy also noticed a huge white light above my head as I was concluding the set of tones; she expressed it as appearing light a search light.
